Events

All of our kitties are currently in loving foster homes where they are comfortable being cared for until adoption. We typically schedule events on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis at our partner stores to promote meet and greets and adoptions or local events where we get to spend time with the community and have fun with our kitties!

Please check here periodically to stay updated on upcoming adoption events, local community events and more. If you are interested in meeting Tails High cats and kittens, the best way to do so would be to complete an Adoption Application and once approved, our Adoption Team will coordinate an in-person meet and greet at the private residence of our foster volunteer. We do not have a physical shelter space to visit.

Cupid is clocking in early because love is in the air and it has whiskers. Join us for our Meow & Purrever Adoption Event on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 12–2pm at Pet Supplies Plus in Franconia, VA, where our expert feline matchmakers will be ready to help you meet your soulmate. We will have plenty of incredible cats and kittens waiting for introductions, head boops, and their moment at the Kissing Booth!

Expect playful meet and greets, serious snuggling potential, and that moment when you lock eyes with the cat who changes everything. We’ll also have Valentine’s Day goodies for donors and adopters, because love should always come with treats.
